Chairman-Board

          Dr. Rehan-ul-Haq Siddiqui is currently working as Chairman, Board of Directors, Saindak Metals Ltd (SML) under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) Government of Pakistan. He also chairs the Technical and Procurement Committee under the BOD SML. Previously worked as Director Geological Survey of Pakistan and served as Professor in the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, Quetta. He also qualified as certified Director from the Centre for Executive Education, IBA City Campus, Karachi.  Dr.  Siddiqui has also worked as visiting Professor in the China University of Geosciences at Wuhan. Currently he is affiliated as visiting Professor with the University of Balochistan at Quetta. Supervised several Ph.D, M.Phil and MS students and evaluated many M.Phil and PhD thesis of different Universities of Pakistan.He also worked as independent mineral consultant in all over Pakistan.

          Dr Siddiqui has got vast experience in the geological and hydrothermal alteration zone mapping, mineral exploration of porphyry copper, molybdenum, gold and tungsten mineralization in the Chagai magmatic arc. Worked on chromite, maghemite, magnesite and manganese deposits in Muslim Bagh and Khanozai areas and sedimentary iron ore deposits in Dilband area as well. He has got vast knowledge of Stratigraphy of Pakistan, particularly Sulaiman and Kirthar Fold Belts, Balochistan Basin and Chagai-Raskoh Magmatic Arc. Dr. Siddiqui has published 147 research Papers/Abstract in various Journals of national and international repute. Presented about 55 scientific papers in various national and international seminars, conferences and symposia. Organized and conducted many in house and National level training workshops at Geoscience Advance research Laboratories, Islamabad and University of Balochistan, Quetta.
